Numerous bladder cancerous tumours.

After two surgeries to remove the tumours in my bladder, there are still some left that are deep rooted. My choice is to try a third surgery and if this isn't successful, then I would have to have my bladder removed completely.  I wanted to know if I should just go ahead and have my bladder removed ...and skip the third surgery, as have been told that it may not be successful anyway.

Really would like to hear from others on my situation.

Thank You

  • Hello there and thanks for posting

I am sorry to hear about your situation. Decisions about treatment are never easy but unfortunately this is your decision to make.

Hopefully others who have been in a similar situation will pop on to share their experiences with you that may help you.

Do also ask the nurses and doctors involved in your care any questions you may have to help guide your thoughts about what surgery to go for.

I hope you get some clarity very soon

    Best wishes

    Naomi
