New bone pain after breast cancer

Hi, I had treatment for grade 2 breast cancer last year which was in one lymph node. I had a lumpectomy followed by radiotherapy and have been on anastrazole since, which I need to be on for 10 years (I'm 62). I have recently been getting pain in my ankle, knee and elbow (flashing pains), on the opposite side. It is starting to make getting out of bed more difficult. Is this likely to be caused by the medication, which I've been on for 6 months?

    I am sorry to hear about the treatment you have had for breast cancer.

    As I am sure you are aware hormonal treatment can affect people in different ways and for some with Anastrazole this can include joint aches and pains. Unfortunately we can't say on here if this is the reason you are now experiencing these pains so advise you to see you doctor so they can assess you and the possible cause.
