  • Hi there,

Just a suggestion but I would ask for help filling out this firm with someone like Macmillan. They will have experience and know what to put. Good luck x

  • Hello and thank you for posting.

I am sorry to hear about your lethargy and fatigue with your stage 3 bowel cancer.

Getting assistance from the PIP payment will hopefully help in some way. If you need further help with financial and benefit support, do contact Macmillan who have a specialist support team who can help with this.

Do talk to your specialist nurse or doctor about your diagnosis and prognosis, so you feel you fully understand your situation. Terminal cancer is often the word used when a cancer can not be cured, but the treatments the doctors are using are there to try and control it.

Please get back to us if you need any more information or support.  You may find it helpful to talk things through with one of the nurses on our helpline.  The number to call is Freephone 0808 800 4040 and the lines are open from 9am till 5pm Monday to Friday.

    Yours sincerely,

    Sarah.
