I am afraid I am not sure if the type of cancer you have been diagnosed with is rare. In some of the medical literature I have read, it says it can be a common subtype of ovarian cancer, however, I have also seen that this is rare.
I am sorry but we are not able to tell you what the likelihood of the cancer recurring is. This will depend on the stage and grade of your cancer as well as the cancer type. Also, how successful the treatment is at getting rid of cancer and how well and fit for you are will also influence your prognosis (outlook).
