It is really difficult to answer your question and give an opinion without being involved in your care. This is a question best answered by the team looking after you. 

You don't say when you had the first mole removed whether you were diagnosed with melanoma and if so what type and stage it was. 

The most important thing is to remain vigilant and to have any suspicious new moles investigated which is what it sounds like you are doing. Unfortunately there is always a risk of new moles appearing but no one can say for sure when and if this will happen.

As we are coming up to summer it is important to keep safe in the sun. Try and stay out of the sun between 11 and 3. Cover up as best you can and apply sun cream on a regular basis. We have some information about  staying safe in the sun on our website.

Don't be afraid to ask the doctors questions about your mole when you have it removed.
