Unfortunately, we are not able to provide you with a very specific comment about your dad's outlook (prognosis). His hospital specialist is best placed to comment, once the actual stage of melanoma is known, and if treatment is suggested.
We do have some national statistics about melanoma survival on our website, but they are very general, and will be from several years ago, as prognosis data is not available in real time.
Therefore, they may not reflect more current outcomes for people, who may be able to have the newer immunotherapy drugs.
