I am sorry to hear your sister is currently undergoing some genetic testing, you haven't said but I am wondering if she has been diagnosed with breast cancer herself.

Most cancers are sporadic, meaning they occur over someones life time. Inherited cancers caused by a gene fault such as BRCA are uncommon and it is thought they represent about 5-10% of all breast cancers.
