Breast cancer

I had WLE for left breast and followed with radiotherapy Oct 2022. I have just had my second follow up mammogram and my breast feels sore , some shooting pains and slightly swollen.  I’m assuming this is purely from the mammogram but it is now 5 days after and I just wanted to seek some advice. 
I do have ongoing tenderness of the breast since the surgery but this is more painful. Thankyou

    I am sorry to learn that you had breast cancer in 2022.

    The mammogram may well be causing the pain you are experiencing, but I cannot say this for certain. If you are concerned it is worth having a chat with your breast nurse specialist (CNS) or you could get checked by your GP as they know your situation.

    I hope the pain improves soon.
