Hi -linda- and thank you for your post.
I am sorry to learn you needed to have surgery to remove all your lymph nodes removed 10 weeks ago. As a cancer information nurse not involved in your care, I cannot say for certain why you are still unable to eat and why you feel your breathing is bad.
As this has been going on for a while it is important to let your team at the hospital know the symptoms you are having or your GP especially if you feel your breathing is bad. I wondered if you have a nurse specialist (CNS) you can contact for advice.
If your breathing is worsening and you are unable to contact anyone, you can always call (NHS) 111 for advice on whether or not you need to see someone urgently.
Please get back to us if you need any more information or support. You may find it helpful to talk things through with one of the nurses on our helpline. The number to call is Freephone 0808 800 4040 and the lines are open from 9am till 5pm Monday to Friday.
I hope you can get some help with this soon,
Take care, all the best
Jemma
