My nail on my big toe has just dropped off leaving an unsightly dry nailbed. How should I treat it and how long before it looks normal again. My chemotherapy finished in January.
I'm having same problem, lost 3 this week! I went to the docs yesterday to make sure no infection and his advice was to soak foot in slightly salted warm water 3 times a day and leave uncovered while in house. I use a make up removal pad to pat dry. He said toenails can take anything from 6months to a year to regrow. Hope this helps although if like me your worried about it pop to see gp to put your mind at rest.
