I have heard of people having another pathologist take a second look at a biopsy to confirm the initial results, I am not sure how often this happens, but it does from time to time.

Waiting for results is seldom an easy situation to cope with. Try to keep an open mind about everything for now until your doctors can tell you more and take things one step at a time.
