Bowel symptoms are common and the blood could be caused by piles ( haemorrhoids)or an anal fissure. These usually settle within a few days or weeks however frequent constipation and straining can cause symptoms to go on for a lot longer. It’s always a good idea to get things checked out just to be on the safe side.
