I’m sorry your husband has been diagnosed with CMML (chronic myelomonocytic leukaemia) and can appreciate you wanting to know more about what this means for him. 

For most people CMML is treatable, but currently it's not curable. Many people do have a good quality of life while having treatment.

How CMML is managed is quite variable and will depend on various features of the disease. Some people whose disease has favourable features could be looking at years. But the best person to discuss this with is your husband's specialist team as they are familiar with all his medical details. If he has a specialist nurse involved in his care then perhaps they can provide him with further information. You often have to call and leave them a message and they will get back to you.
