I'm terrified about a mole on my back, it's not too big itchy or red but it's different shades. I caught my eye I took a picture and I'm having panic attacks as I'm driving myself mad looking at cancerous mole pictures online

Hello and thanks for your post
Many moles do change over time but it is important that anything that looks different is checked out to make sure. GP's are very used to assessing moles and if they suspect something isn't right they will refer on to the dermatologist (skin specialist).
You can read more about getting your mole checked by your GP.
If you need to see a dermatologist, they will assess the mole and examine it closely with a dermascope (an instrument a bit like a magnifying glass). If they have suspicions about the mole they will normally remove it.
I hope this helps. Give us a ring if you would like to talk anything over. The number to call is Freephone 0808 800 4040 and the lines are open from 9am till 5pm Monday to Friday.
Kind regards,
Celene
