How to cope with brain tumor surgery fallouts

I had right front cranial tumer it was operated and fully removed 1st February, had 3 days stay in hospital and have been recovering at home.

My ankles are both swalen and painful i have calf pain I've been to A&E they did blood test x3, and chest x-ray and sent me home saying there is no blood clot. No mention of the leg pain or swelling.

What can I do. Also should the face still be swalen.

  • Hello and thanks for your post

It is really difficult for us to answer questions like this as we are not involved in your clinical care. Your specialist team are better placed to advise you on your current symptoms as they are familiar with all your medical details. They will assess you and decide if you need to have further tests. If you have a specialist nurse involved in your care then perhaps they can provide you with further information. You often have to call and leave them a message and they will get back to you.

I hope things improve for you soon. Give us a ring if you would like to talk anything over.  The number to call is Freephone 0808 800 4040 and the lines are open from 9am till 5pm Monday to Friday.

    Kind regards,

    Celene
