I am sorry to learn you are having symptoms that are causing you concern. It can be a worrying and stressful time waiting for scan results.

Unfortunately, I am not sure that you will get your results before Friday.  I also wasn't sure who had requested the MRI whether it was your GP or a specialist at the hospital or whether or not there is a concern your symptoms are being caused by cancer. It would be worth having a chat with a doctor who is involved in your care and knows your situation.

I was unsure where you are flying to, whether it is for a holiday or work, and how long you will be away. A lot may also depend on how well you are feeling.

I am sorry I cannot be more helpful on this occasion but do have a chat with your doctor as they are better placed to advise you.
