I have discovered by accident that they are investigating this and part of the test is that the protein in my urine or something is raised and  at 0.21 I’m so worried that I could have myeloma and everyone is just telling me just to wait and try not to worry but it’s easier said than done I’m so scared too especially as I’m a single parent. I don’t even have a lot of the symptoms. I only went to the GP as I was looking to see I’m perimenopausal. Immunoglobulins are showing normal and I have always been anemic which is showing up in the tests.

    I'm sorry you are needing to have some more tests done but please listen to others when they say not to over think things too much for now.

    Bloods can be out of range for lots of different reasons and in most cases won't be cancer.

    However if something is flagged it will often need repeating or further tests carried out to find out more but this doesn't mean something serious is going on.

    If anything is flagged following further tests the doctor will discuss this with you and what may or may not need to happen next.

    Please avoid any more google searching for now until you have more information as this can often lead to unnecessary worry and anxiety.

    It’s more the urine test with protein elevated at 0.21 I’m worried about.
