  • Hi there Bellally

I am so sorry it has taken so long for us to get back to you, our system didn't seem to notify us of your post for some unknown reason.

This must be a really difficult time for you and we hope you are ok and getting the support you need at this time.

From another thread I can see your mum was still hanging on as of yesterday, but it sounds like she may be very close to the end now. I am very sorry if of course she already has passed away.

It sounds like you have been doing everything you can at this sad time. Talking to loved ones till the very end is so important. Hearing is the last sense to go so your mum will have heard and will hear if she is still here everything you say to her. I am sure it has been such a comfort for her having you look after her in these last few days, weeks and months of her life.

I am sorry again for the delay in answering you but please get back to us if you need any more information or support.  You may find it helpful to talk things through with one of the nurses on our helpline.  The number to call is Freephone 0808 800 4040 and the lines are open from 9am till 5pm Monday to Friday.

    Take care

    Naomi
