I am sorry to hear about your recent surgery and hope you are recovering well.

Usually it is ok to start the hormones after surgery and whilst having radiotherapy for breast cancer if you aren't having chemotherapy. There is more information on our webpage called 'Hormone therapy for breast cancer' that explains this more.
