Hi there I had the same op last June and can confirm that my pain lasted for at least a month after my op .so I don't think you should worry. X

It can take up to 6 weeks to recover from this surgery. Some nerve endings may have been irritated around the surgery site, and these can take a while to settle.

It's important to take regular painkillers, and to try and maintain good posture, and do some some gentle stretching exercises, to avoid muscle spasm and tightness. Daily gentle exercise also helps.

Any concerns should be raised with their GP/Hospital team. If pain increases, or wound becomes more sore or hot, then seek advice, and/or ring NHS 111.
