Crusty Nipple

Hi

Had surgery to remove small lump in breast, lymph nodes removed in May and 5 sessions of radio in July.  On tamoxifen

I’m still experiencing build up of fluid near the scar under my arm and nipple crusting, is this normal so long after op and radio

    It can take some people's scars a few months to settle down after breast surgery and radiotherapy. You may also have seen it start to get gradually better. 

    If you have concerns about it then please do talk about it with your breast care nurse, if you have not already done so.

    You may find that more people with their own experience of breast cancer surgery may see your post if you post in another area of Cancer Chat.
