Chemotherapy

Been feeling positive up to now. Was supposed to start chemotherapy today, no bed available & a fingers crossed I'll get one tomorrow. Now very worried what will happen if I don't start treatment soon, its taken several months already to get my diagnosis.

  • Hello Meesh and thank you for posting.

I am sorry you are going through a tricky time with getting started on treatment. Hopefully, its all worked out for you today.

Coping with life and cancer can be difficult as it can affect so much, here is a page on coping at this time.

Trying to stay positive can feel like hard work in itself, but getting started on treatment will certainly help this.

Take care Meesh and if you find it helpful to talk things through with one of the nurses on our helpline the number is Freephone 0808 800 4040. The lines are open from 9 am till 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
