I know I have a large lesion on my kidney as I have seen the hospital letter to the GP but the nurse did not tell me it was large when she rang me to tell me. I’m very worried about this . What is a ‘large’ lesion . I believe the bigger it is then the worse the prognosis is . I am beside myself . I have had chest X-ray and wait thise results as the letter to my GO stated that this X-ray is to stage the cancer . I just want to know that large tumor might not mean high grade . I’m convinced at my oncologist appoint next week there will be no hope

    Kidney cancer tumours can be of different types, and sizes, as well as different stages and grades. We have information on kidney tumours here.
