Good morning, sorry I'm unable to sleep due to worrying. I have an appointment on the 29th February for a ultrasound transvaginal scan, how long do I have to wait until I get the results. Thankyou.
I know waiting to have tests and waiting for the results is stressful. You may be given an opinion on what might be the matter on the day, and the hospital should tell you when to expect your results . Unfortunately, we cannot tell you exactly how long you will have to wait as there will be some regional variations in different NHS Trusts.
Waiting in circumstances like this is never easy but I’m afraid there is no real way round this. Some people find talking it through with family and friends and keeping busy can sometimes help. But until you know more it’s natural to worry.

Immediately after the scan I was taken to a room and asked if they could do a Hysteroscopy there and then ,afterwards I was told they couldn't see anything worrying ,however they took biopsies and removed polyps which I waited just over a week to receive a letter telling me it all looked fine .
