Hello and thanks for posting,
We have information about this on our website link here,
https://www.cancerresearchuk.org/about-cancer/breast-cancer/treatment/radiotherapy
If you would like to get responses from the online community, then do reach out to them on the general posting section of the forum, rather than the ask the nurses section. Hopefully, you will then get some replies from other forum users.
I hope that this is helpful, and that your treatment goes well,
Best wishes,
Vanda
I had 15 radiotherapy cycles including 4 at high intensity. Physically the bed is hard, and a bit uncomfortable but the treatment is not painfull. Physiologically i found it hard as you are reminded every day about the cancer. I was a bit tired and got a radiation burn too. My shoulders were stiff and sore. It all passes and my shoulders are fine now. Its not fun, but its not bad. You can do this and then ring that bell
