As I said, unfortunately, national breast cancer statistics do not currently capture this level, or type of data/information. Your breast cancer consultant will be able to explain more, when all results are back, and your cancer has been staged (assessed), and what this means for you.

Do bear in mind that statistics are based on numbers of people, and often don't provide the full clinical picture for an individual person. Your consultant can explain the suggested treatments for you, and the likely risks and benefits of these. They can advise you about treatments, and how these may impact on reducing your overall chances of breast cancer recurrence in the future.
