I have colon cancer ( 5 cm tumour ) today I noticed a mild weak feeling from my waist down , not sure if it was just how i was feeling or it’s anything to do with my colon cancer ?
I’m sorry to hear what you are going through and can appreciate that this is a stressful time.
We can never say what is causing anyone's symptoms, but if the weakness continues do mention it to your doctor.
Before the doctors can plan your treatment, they need to assess the extent of the cancer. The CT scan will help them to do this, I don't know if other tests will be required as well. Once the doctors have all the information they need, they will review you and decide what the best option is to manage your cancer. A multidisciplinary team (MDT) with doctors from different sorts of medical specialities is usually involved.
If you’ve been allocated a specialist nurse at the hospital, they would be the best person to contact to find out when you can expect to hear about your treatment plan.
