I am on Aldara cream for the above on my face chest and scalp. I started to get ulcers on my lips almost 24 hrs after I started. I have completed 1 weeks treatment. Is it ok to continue or should I be concerned. Thank you.
Aldara cream should only be applied to the particular areas specified by your doctor. I am not sure whether they told you to apply it near your lips or not.
You don't apply this cream directly on the lips. And use a cotton wool bud to apply it to small areas. Aldara can cause cause skin irritation and crusting as it starts to work. Do seek further advice from your doctor about this.
