I am sorry your husband is having problems with the side effects of radiotherapy.

As he is going in regularly it is best to get someone from his team to assess the pain and swelling that he is having. Everyone is different in how they respond to radiotherapy, but if there is anything of any concern it's always a good idea to let his doctor or specialist nurse (CNS) know.

Thank you for your reply he has now seen a doctor on the team and meds have been prescribed for 5 days after which time he will have a scan if there’s no improvement
