Hello ,have you had wide ,local excision? I am just guessing here ,but I would expect them to want to discuss the histology of whatever they have sent to the lab and whether you have to have any treatment or medication .

I am sorry to learn that you needed to have a WLE (wide local excision). I hope you are recovering well from the surgery.

I was unsure what your exact situation and what type of cancer you have. Until you speak with the nurse no one can say what will be discussed however, I imagine the nurse specialist will be checking on how you are following your surgery and it may be possible as rumpelstiltskin has suggested that they will go through what was found and what will happen next
