Had a CT scan in December and it showed up that there was a thickness in the acending colon and two small cysts in pouch of Douglas 

was informed that there was a high suspicion of cancer and needed urgent care 

got colonoscopy in January had to wait 6weks for results only to be told that there is not anything there I am absolutely over the moon with results 

but I can’t seem to get out of my head why it’s clear and no one seems to be able to give me any answers as I’m now concerned that they have missed something 

I now have to go down the route of getting my cysts looked at as I was informed that they were not sure that it was connected 

can anyone please advise

    It is good to hear that your colonoscopy was clear.

    As we are not involved in your care it is difficult for us to say what could be causing your cysts. I would ask your team what your next steps are and who you will be seeing next.

    You could also go and discuss this with your GP. The hospital should have written to explain their findings and what investigations that you may need next.

    Even though it is supportive hearing other members of the forum every case is slightly different so it is difficult to compare one situation with another.

    I do hope that you know more soon.
