Hi, I had a radical nephrectomy 2 weeks ago. I was discharged from hospital after 2 days, I didn’t see my surgeon and had no discharge letter. I am waiting to hear what type, stage and grade of cancer and if I will need any further treatment. I also appear to have a non dissolving suture which needs removing but nothing has been sent to my GP. I have tried calling the Consultant’s secretary but nobody picks up.
i feel very anxious because my mother sadly passed away from urethra cancer 1 year ago, her cancer spread to her kidneys and bladder as she never had any chemo treatments due to breakdown in communication during the covid pandemic.
