Unfortunately my results missed the deadline so i now have to wait until next monday

Hi so i had my reaults and they said the cmacer was contained in the 1st Loop but want to do another just to make sure that they have it all….. when i was told about the cancer from the 1st results they mentioned Ct and MRI scans …. Can i still have them done for peace of mind ? Just i have pain in lower back and very bad pain in pelvis on and off ….. also if they have got it all in the 1st Loop can it come. Back ?

I can understand that this must be an unsettling time.

Without being involved in your care it is difficult to fully answer your questions. Do make a list of your concerns. It is very easy to assume that other aches and pains may be connected but that is not always the case. 

The doctors will know more when they do the next procedure. I am sure that if they felt that they needed to do scans then they would do them but don't be afraid to ask them.

The aim will be to treat the area to make sure all the cancer has been removed and then you will be monitored but these questions are really best answered by the doctors involved in your care.
