I have had cll for couple of years and I am on watch and wait I have blood tests every 3 months and consultant rings to update

today he rang to say bloods ok but immune system low and said to in few weeks have a transfusion to improve immunity don’t think it’s blood any ideas please

    It sounds like your immunoglobulin levels are low and will be replaced. It is not a blood transfusion.  This can happen when you have Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia (CLL).
