Rectal pain

I had part of my rectum removed as a consequence of cancer followed by a stoma which was removed a year ago. I have internal pain in the area of the rectum which is not alleviated with paracetamol.

I recently had a colonoscopy which didn’t show any cancer and apart from a couple of small polyps all was well.

I have been prescribed cocodamol which seems to offer no benefit.
