I’m sorry you are worried about a lump under your chin. Most lumps usually appear after a viral or bacterial infection. They can often take several weeks for them to subside and you mention that yours has. But sometimes they may never go back to their original size.

If you remain concerned about this over the next couple of weeks then do make an appointment to see your GP. They can assess you and hopefully reassure you that this is nothing to be worried about.
