I am sorry to hear you are about to start treatment and appreciate the concerns you have.

Hair loss or thinning is often worrying for many patients who are having chemotherapy and we have more information about this here.

Not all chemotherapy drugs do cause hair loss and I guess because of the response from your nurse that this is probably the case for you. If and when there may be some hair thinning from a drug it often isn't enough to be noticeable to other people.

You may wish to post this in other threads on this forum to ask others who have been through similar to ask what their experiences were and if they can put your mind at ease. Or if they can suggest some things to help you with this.
