I was unsure of your reason for asking about blood tests to detect cancer.

Routine blood tests can pick up if there's something wrong with your health, for example, if there is a problem with your kidney function, but they cannot determine the exact cause, and it may mean further tests are needed. 

This link will explain more about blood tests that are required. Blood tests alone cannot diagnose cancer and are usually done alongside other medical tests and imaging scans.
