Hi been on Tamoxifen since November 2023 and it’s been ok bar the night sweats and flushing!  Wouldn’t want to take any more medication to deal with these side effects 

what does bother me though is twinges in my neck! There is no lumps/swelling in the neck and I spoke with BCN who was going to speak to my doctor and they have not got back in touch so I’m presuming they weren’t overly concerned? Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this? 

also following a MUGA scan my heart function has reduced so was started on ramipril, didn’t like the side effects of this so was commenced on Candesartan, first couple weeks ok but my BP was sitting at 90:70 on Friday and I’m getting funny feelings in my chest! Doesn’t stop me doing anything but just wondering if this also a side effect

    I am sorry to hear about how you have been feeling recently and appreciate your concerns.

    Unfortunately no one here can say for sure if it is the medications or something else causing your symptoms. It is important you speak with your breast care nurse or doctor to let them know about the ongoing pain and low blood pressure so you can be properly assessed as to what might be going on.

    Of course if any of these symptoms worsen and in an emergency call NHS111 for advice.
