Ran out of Flamigel - Finished Radio

Hi,

I have ran out of Flamigel and the doctor gave me a prescription which I didn’t manage to pick up.

local pharmacy won’t be able to get anything in till the 29th December.

is there any other the counter products I can use, my chest has started to heat up and stinging feeling.

    Hello Antonia, 

    I just wanted to let you know that our nurses are not currently online due to the festive break but they will pick up your post and respond when they return on 27th December. if you'd like to chat things through with one of our nurses they are back in the office on Wednesday 27th December and you can call them from 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040.

    As you probably need something to ease your symptoms very soon, I would suggest you ask your local pharmacist for advice on whether there is any over the counter product you could use. You could also get in touch with your GP or your nurse and explain the situation and ask whether they have any good suggestions for you. 

    I hope that you manage to pick up your prescription soon and that you find something that relieves your symptoms.

    I realise it is four days since you posted so you may have got this sorted already.

    I  am sorry, but without knowing your exact situation or why you have been prescribed flamigel I am unable to recommend specific creams or medicines over the counter. What Lucie our moderator has advised is exactly what I would have suggested. The only other thought is, if the prescription is still needed, if there was another pharmacy that you could try.
