I have been diagnosed with stage 2 bowel cancer and had it removed on 3/11/23, have just been told it has infiltrated some lymph nodes but don’t know how many yet. How quickly can it spread to other parts of the body from this stage?
I am afraid we are unable to answer your question. There are no set timeframes of when cancer can spread to other organs once cells have entered the lymph nodes.
Hopefully, your team will be meeting to sort a treatment plan for you now that they know this, whilst allowing you to fully recover and heal from your surgery.
