So I have been diagnosed with rectal cancer and I have had the surgery to remove said tumour. However its now been 6 months since Tully the tumour was removed and I'm suffering with urinary incontinence,
I can appreciate that this must be difficult for you at the moment.
Sometimes there can be nerves affected by surgery, and these alter the bladder function. Sometimes this resolves over time, but sometimes not.
Do ask your hospital team to refer you to the specialist continence nurse/service at the hospital. They can assess your actual bladder function with various tests (urodynamic evaluation). There may be scope in trying pelvic floor exercises to see if this also might help. Ideally, your team or a specialist physiotherapist should advise further on this.

Much appreciated, I am already trying pelvic floor but whether I'm doing it properly, so will check the links so much appreciated.
At the end of the day im still breathing so I can't complain too much. Will also get onto my nurse as wasn't aware I could.
