Hello Misspinky , I can only tell you how I was after my chemo for breastcancer . I felt really well and didn’t have many side effects. A bit of brain fog for a few days and tiredness in the afternoon but that was all. I would have a nap and be fine .Listen to your body .  We are all different though ,I would just see how you are feeling on the day and take it from there . 
I also think a mask is a good idea as it’s a big function,have you had your Covid and flu vacc?. Good luck and let me know how it goes ,best wishes xxx

Thank you ghats also helped a lot. I'm a bit if an obsessive hand washer so good to know that habit will do me well! My husband will be pleased I won't "be in danger" (he's quite dramatic)
