  • Hello Rosiepie,

sorry to hear you are feeling unwell .My daughter experienced a lot of sore throats ,tonsillitis, fatigue and just feeling run down for months . She exercises regularly, doesn’t drink much alcohol and eats a good diet . She asked our Gp if they could do a broader blood test ,to find out what’s going on . They found that she had had Glandular Fever and this can make you feel unwell for a while .xxx

  • Hi I had throat problems this year for 4 months kept getting tonsilites strep and constant sore throat ache feeling moving from one side to another and sometimes white streaks got referrred ent looked told me one side slightly swallon but also sent me for mri and blood tests all came back clear turned out I had a very bad case of strep and Gp prescriptions wasn’t strong enough to beat it he put me on 10 days stronger antibiotics and steroid tablets and ain’t had a problem since I get the odd tonsil stone here and there after what the prolonged tonsilites strep did to my tonsilites but that’s it. Maybe yours is just taking longer like mine did

  • Hello Rosiepie and thanks for the post

I am sorry to hear you haven't been feeling too good recently and have undergone some tests to find out more.

Try not to worry too much, it is good to hear you were seen by the ENT consultant who examined you and took a good look at your throat and nose and couldn't see anything unusual going on. They are the experts in this department and I am sure they would be carrying out further tests if they were concerned, at all.

Of course if the symptoms continue then do go back to see your doctor and let them know you are still having problems.

    Best wishes

    Naomi
