Hi,my partner has had stool and blood tests and is booked in for a colonoscopy next week,the reception said one blood test was positive and one satisfactory but didn't really elaborate what does this mean
I am afraid that there is not enough information to know what tests the receptionist was referring to when she mentioned that one test was positive and one satisfactory.
Receptionists also don't usually give results over the phone.
It is not too long until next week when your partner has a colonoscopy so I would encourage your partner to ask the doctor or endoscopist when he sees them.
I can understand that it is unsettling waiting but hopefully, you will know more soon.
