I am sorry to hear you are awaiting some tests following symptoms and hopefully you will know more soon.

A FIT stool test is looking for microscopic blood and any level over 10 is the threshold that this needs further investigation into the cause. However there are many different things and other inflammatory bowel conditions other than cancer that can also cause bleeding and most people fast tracked won't have cancer.

Unfortunately no one here or anywhere else can say what may be going on for you which is why it is important that you have further tests to find out more. Often they will suggest a colonoscopy where a camera on a tube is passed through the back passage to inspect the bowel for anything unusual and take some biopsies (tissue samples that can be examined under a  microscope).

Try to take things one step at a time for now and avoid over thinking things until you have all the facts. Keeping yourself busy and your mind on other things whilst waiting can sometimes help.

I have no symptoms at all now which I suppose is a positive thing.

Still waiting to hear from hospital on 2ww.
