Hi, this is my first post so apologies if this has been asked, I did have a quick look and couldn’t find my question so I hope it’s okay.

3 weeks ago I had a parotidectomy with no complications to remove a benign tumour. I asked the nurse when I was discharged if I would need a follow up appointment to which I was told only if there were bad results from when the tumour is sent of for testing. 

Well I now have an appointment in the next few days and I am obviously thinking the worst (maybe unnecessarily), has anyone had similar and could shed some light on what to expect? I have no idea what the appointments for as I just received a text to say one has been booked for me.
