Hi there   I can’t diagnose of course but it’s not unusual for young ladies to get “ lumpy “ breasts prior to a period and you have had this before so let’s hope all is well xx

Glad you are are getting it checked,but as LCR just said it’s quite usual to have lumpy ,sore boobs pre periods .Mine were like that too ,in my 20s . I went for a mammogram then too ,but all was well . I was constantly feeling them and that made them even more sore .

 I am sorry to hear that you have concerns about your breast. I know how unsettling it can be waiting for appointments to find out what it will all mean.

Breast cancer at your age is really not very common. Benign (not cancer) lumps are far more common in someone of your age. It is good that you have seen the GP and she has referred you. Often doctors refer women to breast clinics not because they suspect cancer but because they want to find out the cause of the lump and also to rule anything serious out.

It is also quite common to have one breast larger than the other. Pain before periods is also common and is not a sign of breast cancer. Breast Cancer Now has produced some information on non-cancerous breast conditions and what should my breasts feel like here and here

Trying to wear a supportive bra may help with any discomfort that you are feeling.

Hi all i went to the breast clinic and all is fine. The dr said it’s eczema on my nipples and he left both breasts and said that I have lumpy breasts. The lady did a ultrasound and said all is fine so o think that’s a good think thank u to u all for support and help god bless you all xoxox
