Hi- iam having blood test every 6 weeks after radioterapy for breast cancer few years ago- i very concerned my GP not taking things seriosuly - last bloods flagged up 

Total white blood count below range

Lymphoctye below range

Neutrophil below range

Eosinophil below range

also comments on blood test state Investigation- blood film - please discuss with a heanatologist if cytopenias are unexplained

They have just suggested keep monitoring- the last blood test i had didnt flagged all this up - i'm worried sick- called gp for another appointment - im going to ask to be refered to a heamotologist!!! what do you all think!!!!!

    As nurses we are unable to explain scan and blood results, so do make an appointment with your GP to talk it through. They will know whether a referral to a haematologist or other investigations are needed.
