Hi. My dad has been diagnosed with thymus cancer that has spread to the lining of his lungs. He also has blood clots in his neck, lung and near heart which he is on medication for. My dad is such a lovely man. This has devastated us all. He doesn't smoke , doesn't drink excessively. We only found out 3 weeks ago. Today he goes to see about having chemo . The consultant who diagnosed him hasn't really told him anything much . I'm really concerned that he is far more poorly then we are being led to believe. I appreciate you can't say too much as you aren't aware of his personal case but right now I have this feeling that the chemo Dr's are going to tell him bad news. He's under respiratory team and is having to see consultant for his bloods / clots on Friday. We know he can't have surgery and this isn't curable but will there be something they can do? My dad is 75yrs but has always been healthy.
